Nichola & Gregory
24th April 2022
We are so grateful to have all of you in our lives. Thank you for your love and support it means the world to us and we can't wait to celebrate our special day with you!
As the big day draws closer, we would like to keep you informed on our wedding details as well as provide you with helpful information.
Please check out our entire website for updates and additional information.
Our Venue & Ceremony
Cadhay, Ottery St. Mary, EX11 1QT
We don’t expect you to buy us gifts, but if you would like to, here is where you can donate to our honeymoon fund via Paypal , or you can buy us something. If you would like ideas for gifts, here is a list at John Lewis
Ottery St. Mary,
For our wedding we would appreciate if you dressed up smart for the event, but no tie or heels required!
Think cocktail dress code, so suits and dresses.
We do hope to host the wedding ceremony in Cadhay’s beautiful gardens (weather permitting), so shoes for walking on grass recommended!
Later in the evening we will also be hosting lawn games including a bucking bronco, so keep that in mind if you want a go! Maybe trousers or leggings to change to if you want?
Becoming the Blackmills:
Combining Miller & Blackmore
Now that we are getting married, we have decided to join our surnames together into a new surname – Blackmill
This is something we have talked about for a long time (“If we ever got married, what would our surname be?” etc) and we wanted to step away from the patriarchal tradition of the wife taking the husband’s name.
We also have a dislike for double barrelled surnames; taking a matriarchal stance of the groom taking the bride’s name; or using separate surnames (we will be family, so want the same surname).
After going through many options, we decided to make this new surname. We hope that you like it and will join us in building our new family.
