Throwing a vegan wedding seems like an impossible task, but have no fear, we are here to help!
A lot of non-vegan people don't really know what being a vegan is about, and it might scare them a little if you make it too 'in your face' on your day. So there's ways of doing it subtly, whilst being content with yourself, knowing full well all the products you're using are vegan-friendly.
Food
Just because there's no meat doesn't mean it can't be delicious! There are so many options for vegan wedding food, and they all look yummy. Here's an example wedding breakfast that's making our mouths water ....
For canapes or light bites, these Beetroot, Carrot & Thyme savoury muffins are great to snack on!
This is our favourite starter, it looks great and you can even make it and try at home first! These are seared polenta with balsamic mushrooms and arugula.
For a main course, why not try spinach and butternut squash roulade, made with vegan soft cheese of course!
The Dress
We've found many beautiful wedding dresses that are vegan-friendly, this one is made from 100% organic cotton.
Flowers - Surely Vegan naturally right?
Not always, make sure you double check the material wrapped around the stem too!
Instead of having wedding gifts, you can ask your guests to donate to a local animal charity. As wedding favours, you can give out seeds for growing flowers/plants or give out mini vegan recipes.
