St. Sophia's Chapel located high on top of a hill with breathtaking sea views. The chapel is in the grounds of the Esperos Village Hotel in Faliraki, however it is very quiet as it is separated from the resort . The ceremony is completely private and it is held outside of the chapel with amazing sea view.

  • Organisation and Translation of documents in Greece
    (max 4 documents including apostille stamps, more than four
    documents additional fee will apply)

  • Booking of wedding Ceremony date and time at relevant town hall
    upon your instruction.

  • Wedding Ceremony and license. at St Sophia

  • Bridal Bouquet & Grooms Buttonhole 

  • Wedding photography. 4hrs ( choice of photographers)

  • Flower Arch for ceremony.

  • Flower arrangement for ceremony table or top table at the reception.

  • A 2 tier wedding cake (around 20 portions, extra tiers can be arranged).

  • A bottle of sparkling wine

  • Wedding breakfast and reception at Ammades Seaside Restaurant

Plus all of our weddings include

  • Personal Wedding Co-ordinator in the UK as well as a dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator in resort.

  • Clear advice regarding the legal requirements and all the documentation that you need to obtain prior to travel.

  • Meeting with your in-resort Wedding Co-ordinator soon after you arrive in resort.

  • Assistance from your Wedding Co-ordinator in Resort with processing all the paperwork with the relevant local authorities once you have arrived at your resort. Your Wedding Co-ordinator will organise all necessary appointments with the relevant local authorities.

  • Services of your in resort Wedding Co-ordinator (available ‘on-call’ throughout your stay), including advice and assistance with arranging all the finishing touches you may wish to add.

  • Services of your in resort Wedding Co-ordinator on your wedding day to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that everyone in your party leaves on time to reach the wedding venue.

  • Services of your Wedding Co-ordinator after your wedding to arrange delivery of Marriage Certificates, viewing of photographs etc. 

 

 

Other cost to take into consideration: you will need to obtain your certificate of no impediment ( one each) from your local registrar and send your papers to the FCO (Foreign & Commonwealth Office) for the papers to be apostilled – the FCO sends me the papers back direct – cost at the moment is £45* per documents + £8* postage for special delivery £65 per extra document if required (if you have been married before / changed your name by deed pole)

 

IMPORTANT NOTE :

  • Due to the fact that the church has priority  to use the St Sophia Church - The Municipality council reserves the right to cancel or change dates, times and locations of weddings previously confirmed for reasons outside its control.

  • Please remember, the Chapel at St Sophia is a beautiful place, regarded with warm affection by the Greek people.  Please ask your guests to treat the Chapel and its grounds with respect and to try to leave it as they found it. 

  • The Chapel grounds are strictly no smoking.  

  • Remove any discarded rubbish (water bottles, confetti boxes etc.) when you leave.

  • Do not ring the bells.

  • Do not stick nails on the wall. 

  • Confetti:  only bio-degradable confetti is allowed and the throwing of rice or the use of ‘confetti cannons’ is not allowed.

  • Music : No C.D players are allowed around the chapel .The priest Father Spyridon permits only traditional Greek organs accordion, violin etc.
