It's that time of the year when you dig out your bag at the bottom of closet that's full of all your Halloween costumes. It's a also the time when you get to let loose with your creative skills on a pumpkin! One year I went all out and did Harry Potters face on mine, even though that's not really anything to do with Halloween?! I still had the best time making it though. So why not add that bit of fun to your autumn wedding.
Having an October wedding gives you so many perks to your wedding day. You get all the deep autumn colours, crisp air, the fire pits outside, woodburners inside (if your venue has them) and the chance to use pumpkins as decor! So here is a few of our favourite ideas, that we'll definitely be trying ourselves at home.
This one is so simple, yet somehow makes a pumpkin look glamorous, who'd have thought?! All you need is glue & glitter.

Mini pumpkins are a great idea to use as favours, they're small so they can fit in your bag, and are so easy to put wherever you want in your home.

If you're going for the Autumn colours, you can use a pumpkin as a centrepiece to bring out the orange look! Pair it with the log slice and deep coloured flowers and it'll look great.

Depending on how intricate you want to go, we love these lace pumpkins, they could even be hung from the trees with lights in.

So if you're planning an October wedding and want something a little bit different, then there you go! Or even if you just want to have a little play at home, that's exactly what we'll be doing!
