We had met Lauren when she was a bridesmaid for one of previous planning couples so it was lovely to catch up with some familiar faces and also meet Rob and discuss their vision for a whimsical boho wedding on the beautiful Daymer Bay.
The Tipi's where supplied by the Cornish Tent Company with furniture from the Prop Factory and the church was a 10 min walk from the beach so a great excuse for beach pictures and to take in the scenery. One evening in a late night text Lauren requested Alpacas so we delivered and booked the lovely fluffy friends at Candenza Alpacas. They where a great hit with guests and the couple a like, and who wouldn't want an Alpaca as a guest!
There where so many impromptu moments and laughs, with homemade confetti cannons and garter dances, bride speeches and brothers singing and lovely details like bird pin favours with donations going to the RSPB, and beautiful blooms from BlueJen Florists.
The magic was capture on film by Sean White Films and these beautiful photos are from Dan Ward Photography. We loved every minute of planning this wedding in Cornwall and also coordinated the day from set up to clear down. We make every effort to be a background and supporting role to make every detail of the the day run smoothly, but it looks like Dan managed to capture me escorting the couple away for a moment after the I dos! ( we always like to schedule in a moment to breathe)
We used Signature Blue hire for the shepherds hut toilets and showers for campers, and the yummy wedding breakfast was provided by Beauty and the Feast! (such a great name!) and some fab cocktails from the unique air stream style Buffalo Bar along with dancing into the night provided by band and DJ from Bespoke discos.
We love the fact we get the opportunity to work with such fun couples in some of the most beautiful places in the South West and Daymer Bay was no exception. We have put it on our list of days out! (When we get to go out) And are looking forward to more beach weddings this year.
